This workshop will help to reconnect the physical, mental and spiritual energy connecting with the inner ‘self’ to help release and restore the energy centres. As we begin to explore our energy connections as a community before delving deeper into our own journey of self- inquiry to uncover our root connections.

Align yourself with nature by tending to the seed within and enjoy a satisfyingly restorative yin practice. This mindful and restorative yoga practice incorporates some gentle heart openers, connecting with root centre for grounding and integration. Yin yoga mindfully blends static postures and gentle movement as a complementary way of simultaneously relaxing and rejuvenating on a mental, physical and emotional level.

Identifying possible energy imbalances, we use the second part of this workshop to connect with our soul parts integrating body and spirit, with earth and fire, through a meeting of east and west.

Making ourselves comfortable for guided shamanic meditation we set intentions for our connection to the east before working in three parts:

Relaxation: Relaxing the mind and body to help alleviate tension, working to release energy blockages and restore the energy centres.
Energy work: working with our animal allies to connect with our intuitive self we journey to heal soul parts and retrieve them
Integration: Integrating the energy body and earth body we bring ourselves back into the space using our breath to reconnect with our life force energy, and return to centre. Time for individual integration is offered and we invite you to bring a journal.
Returning to our community for the final part of the workshop the space is held for sharing before we make our offerings of gratitude and we close the sacred space.
